 Sewcial Day is the perfect day to come hang out with us and your friends! Bring your sewing projects and use this time to get caught up without home distractions . Sign up is required due to limited space. Vanetta and Monique will be available for help and encouragement.

Technical Tuesday: Tuesday, April 4th, 10:30am - 2:30pm 

Do you have a project that you are stuck on?  Or one that you never started because the pattern is written in gibberish?  Or, do you just need some help? Then Technical Thursday is for you!  Michelle has the ability to decipher just about any pattern she has come across.   If the project that you need assistance with is not a pattern the shoppe sells please bring it in a few weeks ahead of time to give Michelle time to review.  Class size will be limited to four students to allow individual instruction.

Learn to quilt: Thursdays, April 6th, 20th & 27th, May 4th & 11th,  11am - 2pm 

Have you always wanted to learn to quilt? Or, are you still new to quilting and do not yet have the confidence in your understanding of the basic principles? Our Basic Learn to Quilt class is the class for you! The class will be five weeks, students will learn the basics such as understanding quilting vocabulary, cutting fabric, piecing, ironing and finishing a quilt with binding. Students will complete a small quilt top from start to finish in the five-week class.

Tuesday Table Runner: Tuesday, April 11th, 10:30am - 2:30pm 

Join us the 2nd Tuesday of each month for her latest table runner class.  Each month one of us will have a new table runner or table mat pattern.  Some months there will be kits, others you use your own fabric.   All will be beautiful and will be great for your home or to use as gifts. The pattern will be announced one month before class.

Cost: $30

Scrap club: Wednesday, April. 12th,  11am - 3pm 

A monthly club for you to use those scraps making small projects.  The projects are from the book Little Handfulls of Scraps by Edita Sitar.

Intro to Rules: Saturday, April 15th, 10:30am - 2:30pm

Are you intimidated by machine quilting rulers? Do you have some and are wary of using them? Are you thinking of getting some but not sure which brand of ruler? Maryfran has been quilting with quilting rulers for a few years and has tried several brands. She will share with you the basic concepts (these apply to all brands) and show you how to use some of her favorites. The Quilters Select Straight Edge ruler is needed for this class and can be purchased at the shop. We are ordering just the quantity needed for the class so please let us know when you register if you need the ruler.

Charity Tuesday: Tuesday, April. 18thst, 10:30am - 2:30pm

Many hands make light work.  Come help us put together quilt kits to send to Honduras.  One Common Thread (OCT) is a charitable organization that gives women living in extreme poverty in the slums of Honduras an opportunity to earn money to support themselves and their families.  We need help counting out fabric squares to put kits together that are then sent to OCT to be taken to Honduras.  If you can spare a few hours a month we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these women and help break the cycle of poverty for them.  We can't help everyone but together we can help as many as possible!  Feel free to come for the entire 4 hours or just a few hours.
